Two vehicles, a black Honda and a red Jeep, were involved in the deadly head-on crash on Highway 49
Mariposa, CA – The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that a woman was killed ina deadly head-on collision on Highway 49 in Mariposa on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities said a woman in her 30s was killed in the crash. Her name was not immediately released.
Several other people in both vehicles were injured and hospitalized.

Mariposa, CA – At least one person is dead following a deadly head-on crash at the intersection in Mariposa Saturday afternoon.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:08 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 49 and Ben Hur Road.
According to a CHP incident log, officers responded to the scene and located a black Honda and a red Jeep involved in a head-on collision.
The impact caused one of the involved vehicles to roll over.
According to the CHP, at least one person died in the wreck. The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.
The authorities did not say if anyone else was hurt in the incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
