Man Killed, 2 Hospitalized after Crash on West Sherman Way in Reseda

, CA. – Authorities identified the 19-year-old man who died in a crash Thursday morning in Reseda as Fernando Zambrano.

Two other people, including a Good Samaritan, were hospitalized after the collision that took place around 8:30 a.m. on West Sherman Way near Corbin Avenue.

Two vehicles were traveling eastbound on Sherman Way when they collided and lost control, crashing into trees.

Zambrano and another car occupant got trapped in the wreckage.

A Good Samaritan tried to help the victims before Los Angeles firefighters arrived.

Zambrano was pronounced dead at the scene. Earlier reports had mentioned that he was 25 years old.

The other person who was trapped was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Good Samaritan was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries suffered while offering help.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.

Reseda, CA. – A 25-year-old man was killed and another was critically injured in a car crash Thursday morning in Reseda.

The crash occurred about 8:30 a.m. in the 19600 block of West Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two vehicles were involved in the wreck. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately established.

Two people had been trapped in the crash and were extricated.

One person was declared dead at the scene while the other was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
