Long Beach, CA.- The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified Michael Shaun Ross as a victim killed in pedestrian crash near Claremont Avenue in Long Beach early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at around 12:40 a.m. near Claremont Avenue and 5300 block of East Second Street, the Long Beach Police Department said.
The preliminary investigation indicates LBFD personnel were responding to a call for service when their fire engine struck Ross.
Ross was declared deceased at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
