Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified 30-year-old Marquis Ray as a male pedestrian killed in a crash on Interstate 110 in South Los Angeles Wednesday night.
The mishap occurred at around 8:35 p.m. on the southbound 110 Freeway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Ray was struck by a vehicle while trying to cross the freeway.
Ray was declared dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.

Los Angeles, CA – A male pedestrian was killed in a Wednesday afternoon night accident on Interstate 110 in South Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported on the southbound 110 Freeway and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 8:35 p.m.
Reportedly, the man was attempting to cross the freeway when he was hit by a vehicle.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The southbound 110 Freeway was closed for nearly three hours while the CHP investigated the collision.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
