Fresno, CA. – The Fresno County Coroner's Office identified 74-year-old Gloria Garcia as a female pedestrian killed in a crash at an intersection in Fresno early Saturday morning.
The Fresno Police responded to the wreck at around 3:19 a.m. September 14 at Blackstone and Spruce Avenues.
Police said the vehicle's driver was travelling southbound on Blackstone Avenue in the first lane when he struck Garcia.
Detectives said the driver appeared to have had the green light at the time of the collision.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drugs and alcohol were not suspected in this collision.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.

Fresno, CA. – An elderly woman died after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Fresno.
The accident happened in the area of Blackstone and Spruce Avenues at around 3:19 a.m., according to the Fresno Police Department.
The female pedestrian, believed to be about 70 years of age, was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Blackstone Avenue.
The unidentified woman died at the accident scene.
