, CA. – A 22-year-old Moreno Valley woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Highway 60 in Moreno Valley early Thursday morning.

Ernestine Jones was struck by a vehicle at around 3 a.m. on the westbound State Route 60 near Perris Boulevard.

Jones was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Moreno Valley, CA. A pedestrian died in a traffic collision that happened early Thursday morning on the 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported just after 3 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Perris Boulevard.

First responders found the pedestrian lying in the roadway.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

All westbound lanes of the freeway were shut down for several hours following the collision.
