Walnut Creek, CA. – Authorities identified the driver who died over the weekend in a multi-vehicle accident in Walnut Creek as Eduardo Anaya, 41, of Escalon.
The accident occurred around 6 a.m. on October 26 on northbound Interstate 680 near the Rudgear Road exit.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars reportedly overturned onto its side.
No one else involved in the crash suffered serious injuries.
California Highway Patrol officers are investigating the collision.

Walnut Creek, CA. – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Walnut Creek on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 680 near Rudgear Road at about 6 a.m.
The CHP said three vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of I-680 and one of them rolled onto its side.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It's unclear whether other involved parties were injured.
Several lanes were blocked as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
