Alicia Osteen Dies in Mariposa Accident on State Route 49
Mariposa, CA – The coroner's office has identified Alicia Osteen as a woman killed in a traffic collision on Highway 49 in Mariposa Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 3 p.m. December 14 on the northbound Highway 49, north of Varain Road.
Alicia Osteen was driving a Honda northbound on the highway when she crossed the painted double yellow lines into the southbound lane before colliding with the Jeep.
Osteen sustained fatal injuries due to the crash.
Multiple passengers from both vehicles were treated on scene by medical personnel and transported to a local hospital.
An investigation is underway.
