The crash occurred on the northbound Highway 99 just south of State Route 119 at around 3:29 a.m.

Bakersfield, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a deadly car crash involving a semi-truck on State Route 99 in Bakersfield early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 3:29 a.m. on the northbound State Route 99 just south of Highway 119.
A semi-truck collided with a grey Toyota sedan in unclear circumstances.
One person was killed in the wreck.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
