Four people, one with moderate injuries and three with minor injuries, were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital
Santa Barbara, CA – Four people were following a three-vehicle traffic collision on Hollister Avenue near Santa Barbara Friday night, according to a police report.
The head-on accident happened just before 8 p.m. on Hollister Avenue, just west Auhay Drive.
Authorities said three vehicles – a sedan and two SUVs – were involved in the collision.
Some people were trapped in one of the involved vehicles and required extrication.
According to a CHP report, four people were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. One patient had moderate injuries and the other three had minor injuries.

Santa Barbara, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a car accident on Friday evening in Goleta.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 7:59 p.m. on Hollister Avenue near Modoc Road.
Officers who responded to the incident located three vehicles at the accident scene. The cause of the accident was not immediately determined.
One person suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
