Authorities said the teenager was riding a dirt bike when he collided with a woman driving a Volvo SUV.
Solana Beach, CA. – A 17-year-old boy was severely injured in a collision that happened Friday last week at an intersection in Solana Beach, the San Diego County Sheriff's Office said.
The accident was reported around 5:30 p.m. on August 30 at the intersection of Lomas Santa Fe Drive and the southbound entrance to Interstate 5.
Authorities said the teenager was riding a dirt bike when he collided with a woman driving a Volvo SUV.
The rider was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff's Station responded to the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
