Steven Pendley Killed in Auto-Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (September 7, 2021) – 50-year-old Steven Pendley has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by two vehicles in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 5:16 a.m. on the Harbor (110) Freeway near West Third Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Pendley was running across the freeway from the right shoulder to the center divider wall when he was hit by two vehicles including a bobtail truck.
Pendley was killed in the accident, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
