Steven Klein ID'd as Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Orange (57) Freeway near Diamond Bar Boulevard in Diamond Bar
Diamond Bar, California (August 25, 2021) – The Los Angeles County Coroner's Bureau has identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday morning following a traffic accident in Diamond Bar as Steven Klein, 51, of Bullhead City, Arizona.
The deadly motorcycle accident occurred at about 2:46 a.m., Saturday, August 21, on the northbound side of the Orange (57) Freeway, just south of Diamond Bar Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Klein was riding a 2016 Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he reportedly made an unsafe lane change into the No. 5 lane and rear-ended a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia.
Due to the impact, the motorcycle traveled out of control and crashed into a concrete K-rail.

Klein was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the big rig did not suffer any injuries.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
