The deadly crash occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on October 29, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 370.

Deschutes County, OR – An elderly woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 in Deschutes County on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Oregon State Police.
The OSP identified the deceased woman as Sheila Nordman Ann Nordman, an 85-year-old resident of Redmond, Oregon.
The deadly crash occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on October 29, 2025, at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 370.
Police said Nordman was operating a Ford Escape westbound when she attempted to cross Highway 97 and entered the path of a southbound BMW 3S, leading to a collision.
Nordman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
The BMW driver, identified as Sebryna Denise Parry, 21, of Terrebonne, and her passenger, a 2-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries in the incident.
The accident closed the highway for one hour.
The police are investigating the accident.
