Police said a 2017 Ford Expedition operated by a 37-year-old woman was heading east on Canon Street when she drifted to the right side and slammed into the back of an Econoline box truck parked along the roadway
San Diego, CA.- Several people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night in San Diego, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The wreck happened in the 3400 block of Canon Street at around 9:15 p.m. September 7.
Police said a 2017 Ford Expedition operated by a 37-year-old woman was heading east on Canon Street when she drifted to the right side and slammed into the back of an Econoline box truck parked along the roadway.
A 12-year-old girl who was a passenger in the Ford, was taken to a hospital with a broken right femur.
At least four other parties in the Ford complained of pain and were taken to hospital.
DUI was not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
