Camp Pendleton North, CA. – At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon on Interstate 5 in Camp Pendleton North.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the southbound 5 Freeway just south of Scales at around 1:40 p.m.
A black Honda Civic, a Toyota Land Cruiser, and a grey Range Rover were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the mishap were not immediately established.
At least one person suffered severe injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
All the vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed away from the scene.
