At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Collision on State Route 152 in Chowchilla
Chowchilla, California (June 26, 2023) – At least one person was seriously injured in a semi-truck collision that happened early Monday morning on State Route 152 in Chowchilla, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At around 4:26 a.m., a big rig and two other vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Road 16.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped one person who was severely injured.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
All eastbound lanes remained blocked during the investigation.
