1 Injured in San Lorenzo Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Hesperian Boulevard
Hayward, California (August 17, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in San Lorenzo on Monday afternoon, August 16.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 880 Freeway near Hesperian Boulevard.
The officers responded to the scene at about 3:04 p.m. and recovered four vehicles that were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
One person was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
