Motorcyclist Hospitalized after San Diego Crash on Bancroft Avenue near Olive Avenue
San Diego, California (August 29, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after a Monday morning motorcycle accident in San Diego, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 9:13 a.m., on August 23, on Bancroft Avenue near Olive Avenue.
According to the officials, the motorcyclist was headed northbound on Bancroft when a red vehicle, driven by a male driver, crossing from westbound Olive struck him.
As a result of the crash impact, the motorcyclist lost control, crossed over into oncoming traffic, and was ejected onto the roadway.
Motorcyclist Injured in San Diego Crash
The rider was seriously injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
