At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Salinas Car Crash on Alisal Road near Hartnell Road

Salinas, California (August 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that happened Monday morning in Salinas, resulting in major injuries.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash at around 6:04 a.m. on Alisal Road, near Hartnell Road.
Reportedly, a driver of a red Honda tried to pass a gray Jetta and ran the driver of that car off the roadway, then went head-on into a Hyundai Elantra.
At least one person was severely hurt in the accident, the report said.
No other information was given about the wreck.
Authorities are investigating to establish the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
