3 Hospitalized after Sacramento Car Crash on Franklin Boulevard at 51st Avenue
Sacramento, California (September 9, 2021) – 2-year-old Elizabeth Keo, 11-year-old Justin Keo, and a third person were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred at about 2:16 p.m. in the 6701 block of Franklin Boulevard at 51st Avenue.
A gray van and a red sedan were involved in the accident under unclear circumstances.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
The two children and a third unidentified person were taken to UC Davis Medical Center with minor injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
