Russell Foreyt Killed in Colfax Accident on Highway 195
Colfax, Washington (June 23, 2023) – Russell C. Foreyt, 36, was killed in a motorcycle collision on Thursday evening near Colfax, according to Washington State Patrol.
The crash happened on Highway 195 near milepost 34.
WSP said Foreyt was riding a 2002 Harley-Davidson 883 motorcycle when he swerved across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming 2002 Ford Focus driven by Robert Spies, 58, of Genesee.
Foreyt was pronounced deceased at the scene while Spies was taken to Whitman Hospital and Medical Center in Colfax for treatment.
No further details were available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
