Spokane Valley, WA – Robert Garcia, 39, and one other person were hospitalized after a head-on collision on Pines Road in Spokane Valley Wednesday morning.
According to the Washington State Police, the crash happened at around 11 a.m. on Pines Road near Trent Avenue.
As per the reports, Garcia was driving northbound on Pines Road near Trent Avenue when his car crossed the center line and hit a car driving in the southbound lane head-on.
Both Garcia and the driver of the other car were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
WSP believed alcohol or drugs were the cause of the crash.
Garcia was charged with vehicular assault.
No further details regarding the collision were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
