Dublin, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a car Thursday morning on Interstate 680 in Dublin, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 8:54 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near the eastbound Interstate 580 connector.
A Kawasaki motorcycle and a black SUV were involved in the crash. The motorcycle went down, blocking the No. 1 lane.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the rider to Eden Medical Center with the complaint of pain to legs and cuts to hands.
Details about the cause and manner of the crash were not available.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
