Raymond Ayala Killed in French Valley Crash on Winchester Road near Benton Street
French Valley, California (August 12, 2021) – A man was killed in a head-on accident in French Valley on Thursday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Winchester Road near Benton Street at around 2:21 p.m. August 12.
CHP said two vehicles collided head-on on the southbound side of Winchester Road.
Raymond Ayala Killed in French Valley Car Crash
One man, identified as Raymond Ayala, 48, of Hemet, died in the crash.
Another involved party was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The crash caused a closure of Winchester Road between Benton Street and Auld Road as authorities worked at the scene.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
