Pedestrians are the most vulnerable of all road users. In the event of an auto-pedestrian accident, pedestrians are very likely to suffer serious injuries, including broken bones, head trauma, spinal cord injuries, and even death. Most pedestrian accidents are caused by:
- Drivers' negligence
- Failure to yield the right of way
- Jaywalking
- Crossing against a traffic signal
While pedestrian accidents are unfortunately common, it can be extremely challenging to determine the at-fault party. A pedestrian lawyer can help determine liability and pursue compensation on behalf of the victims or their families
