Pedestrian Killed in Wheatland Crash on State Route 65 near Dry Creek Levee Road
Wheatland, California (September 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near Wheatland on Friday night, according to the CHP.
The incident happened on State Route 65 north of Dry Creek Levee Road at about 11:35 p.m.
CHP said a pedestrian was walking on the southbound side of SR 65 when he was hit by a 2016 Ford Fusion.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved motorists stayed at the scene after the accident and cooperated with the investigators.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
