Michael Pearcy Identified as Victim Killed in Columbia Crash on N. Whitaker Road and N. Hayden Meadows Drive

Portland, Oregon (November 3, 2023) – The Portland Police Bureau has identified Michael Allen Pearcy, 32, as a pedestrian fatally struck by a car last month in East Columbia.
According to the authorities, the collision happened at around 4:36 a.m. October 20 on North Whitaker Road and North Hayden Meadows Drive.
A vehicle struck Pearcy in the location in unclear circumstances.
Pearcy was transported to a hospital with head trauma, where he later died.
The driver behind the wheel stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
