Pedestrian Injured in San Diego Accident on Pacific Highway
San Diego, California (July 4, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Diego on Saturday night, according to the authorities.
The crash happened on Pacific Highway in Old Town at around 8:30 p.m. July 1.
A pedestrian was walking in the bicycle lane when he tried to walk across the highway and was hit by a southbound 2019 Hyundai Elantra.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Alcohol was not suspected to be a factor in the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
