Poulsbo, WA.- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Poulsbo on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place on Rhododendron Drive NW, south of Pioneer Hill Road NW shortly before 2 p.m. October 7.
According to the report, a driver fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in the area.
The victim was killed in the incident.
The identity of the pedestrian was not immediately released.
The KCSO reported that the suspect was operating a vehicle believed to be a 2012 to 2014 Subaru Impreza.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
