Police said a vehicle struck a man under unclear circumstances on Cordelia Road near Lopes Road
Fairfield, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
The accident took place on Cordelia Road near Lopes Road shortly after 4 p.m. December 24.
Police said a vehicle struck a man in the area under unclear circumstances.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
