At around 1:30 p.m. November 2, the Lane County Sheriff's deputies and firefighters responded to reports of a crash on Oaklea Drive near Kinney Lane.
Authorities located a pedestrian who had reportedly been hit by a vehicle.
Despite life-saving measures performed on the victim, they succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The involved driver was at the scene when authorities arrived and cooperated with investigators.
The Lane County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
