A vehicle hit a pedestrian in the southbound lanes of Weedpatch Highway at Wharton Avenue
Lamont, CA.– A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Lamont on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on Weedpatch Highway at Wharton Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. August 29.
A vehicle hit a pedestrian in the southbound lanes of the highway.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
All southbound lanes of Weedpatch Highway were shut down as authorities worked at the scene.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
