Los Angeles, CA. – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened early Monday morning in Los Angeles' Toluca Lake neighborhood.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 12:42 a.m. on westbound State Route 134 near the Cahuenga Boulevard off-ramp.
CHP said a 23-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a car under unclear circumstances.
The victim sustained major injuries, including a laceration to the leg. She was transported to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities said a separate crash involving two cars also occurred in the same area around the same time. The second collision resulted in property damage only.
An investigation is ongoing.
