Police said a woman was trying to walk across the roadway when she was hit by a car traveling southbound on Sullivan Road

Spokane Valley, WA – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Spokane Valley on Friday night, according to the Spokane Valley Police Department.
The incident took place on Sullivan Road north of Broadway Avenue at about 6:20 p.m. November 14.
Police said a woman was trying to walk across the roadway when she was hit by a car traveling southbound on Sullivan Road.
The victim was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver, identified as Seth E. Schrammeck, 29, was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of reckless endangerment and vehicular homicide.
Schrammeck is suspected to have been driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
There were two children inside the vehicle and none of them was hurt.
The accident remained under investigation.
