A pedestrian was trying to cross Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard mid-block against a traffic signal when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle

Vancouver, WA.- A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in Vancouver on Monday evening, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
The incident took place at about 7:15 p.m. January 27, on Southeast 117th Avenue and Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard.
A pedestrian was trying to cross Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard mid-block against a traffic signal when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
