Person Killed in Valencia Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway
Valencia, California (July 2, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the 5 Freeway in Valencia on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on the freeway near the Valencia Boulevard on-ramp at around 10:30 p.m. June 30.
Authorities said a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the northbound side of the freeway.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The freeway was shut down at Valencia Boulevard as authorities investigated the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
