Tahoe City, CA. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Friday night on a highway in Tahoe City, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident transpired around 11:25 p.m. in the 1530 block of Highway 28, also known as North Lake Boulevard.
A male pedestrian was struck by a car for an unknown reason.
Firefighters responded to the scene, performed CPR on the victim, and then transported them to a hospital
Despite the efforts by the firefighters, the victim died from the injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
