San Jose, CA.- A pedestrian died days after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident took place on South Fifth and East Fernando streets at about 6:31 p.m. October 1.
Police said a woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit by a silver 2018 Nissan Sentra.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died days later.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The incident is under investigation.
