Police said a male pedestrian was hit by a GMC pickup truck traveling northbound on El Evado Road.
Victorville, CA. – A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after he was struck by a pickup truck Sunday evening at an intersection in Victorville, the Victorville Police Department reported.
The accident was reported around 7:50 p.m. at La Mesa and El Evado roads.
Police said a male pedestrian was hit by a GMC pickup truck traveling northbound on El Evado Road.
Victorville City Fire responded to the scene and found the victim with serious injuries. The patient was initially transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center by ground ambulance and then airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center.
The pickup truck driver stopped and remained at the scene after the crash.
VPD is investigating the accident.
