According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, the wreck took place around 8 p.m. on Soledad Canyon Road outside Schooner's parking lot.
Santa Clarita, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a high-speed accident that happened Tuesday evening in the Santa Clarita's Saugus neighborhood.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, the wreck took place around 8 p.m. on Soledad Canyon Road outside Schooner's parking lot.
Deputies said the driver of a black Honda Civic was traveling at about 100 mph when they failed to yield and struck a black Tesla pulling out of the parking lot.
Both cars sustained severe crash damage.
One of the drivers was hospitalized with injuries not considered serious.
The driver of the Honda admitted speed was a factor at the scene.
Deputies are investigating the collision.
