The California Highway Patrol said the pileup was reported around 5:37 p.m. on southbound Interstate 605 just north of Firestone Boulevard.
Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-605 in Norwalk Sends 1 to Hospital
Norwalk, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that occurred Saturday afternoon in Norwalk.
The California Highway Patrol said the pileup was reported around 5:37 p.m. on southbound Interstate 605 just north of Firestone Boulevard.
Five vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the collision. Care Ambulance transported the victim to Downey Community Health Center with minor injuries.
CHP officers did not immediately determine the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
