Imperial County, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident that happened Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Winterhaven, a census-designated place in Imperial County.
The wreck occurred around 11:13 a.m. at Quecham Drive and Agnes Road.
A black Dodge Ram and a white SUV were involved in the accident. One of the cars was left blocking the roadway after the crash, and the other was on the right shoulder.
A female occupant of the vehicle blocking the roadway suffered a minor head injury. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the patient to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the cause of the crash.
