One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Hwy 101 in San Jose

San Jose, California (September 25, 2023) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Sunday morning in San Jose.

The California Highway Patrol said the pileup was reported around 12:18 a.m. on the southbound Highway 101, just south of the Old Oakland Road on-ramp.

First responders found a white minivan with moderate rear-end damage, a silver SUV with major front-end damage, and a semi-truck carrying cars with a broken left front axle.

One person was transported to Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
