One Hospitalized After Google Bus Hits Vehicles in San Francisco

, California (November 9, 2023) – One person was injured and several vehicles damaged after an electric bus operated by Google rolled back and hit several vehicles in San Francisco Monday morning, according to a police report.

The crash happened at about 8:45 a.m. near the intersection of Castro and 20th Street.

Authorities say the Google commuter bus rolled backward on the steep hill hitting several vehicles.

One person inside one of the vehicles was injured and was taken to the hospital.  The severity of the injuries was not stated in the report. The driver of the bus and the other drivers remained at the scene.

At least four vehicles were hit by the bus and were damaged.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
