2 Injured in Car Accident on Calloway Drive near Brimhall Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (November 8, 2023) – A Bakersfield police officer and a second person were injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash in northwest Bakersfield.
The accident happened at around 12:49 p.m. on Calloway Drive near Brimhall Road, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The BPD officer was driving a patrol vehicle southbound on Calloway Drive when he collided with a northbound SUV that made a westbound turn across the southbound lanes.
The officer and the male driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries in the accident.
Police do not believe speed and intoxication were factors in this collision.
