Minor Injuries Sustained in Oakland Car Crash on Interstate 880 near Broadway On-Ramp
Oakland, California (August 6, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle collision that took place Friday morning in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at around 11:38 a.m. on southbound Interstate 880, just south of the Broadway on-ramp.
A white GMC Sonoma and a Toyota pickup truck were involved in the wreck.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to help the motorists who suffered minor injuries. The report did not mention whether there was anyone who was hospitalized.
At least one of the vehicles was towed away with crash damage.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
