Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Newhall Crash on State Route 14 (Antelope Valley Freeway) near Golden Valley Road

Newhall, California (September 12, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic collision in Newhall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 10, on State Route 14, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway, near the Golden Valley Road onramp.
CHP said a motorcyclist and a passenger car collided on the northbound side of the freeway.
The female rider was thrown off the bike upon the impact. She was treated at the scene before being transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with minor injuries.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately given.
The collision remains under investigation.
