Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Crash on Interstate 5
Bakersfield, California (June 21, 2023) – Multiple vehicles were involved in an injury crash that took place in Bakersfield on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on I-5 just north of Rowlee Road at about 10:30 a.m.
CHP said the vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate and one of the vehicles rolled over.
A woman inside one of the vehicles was pinned in the wreckage.
Grass vegetation fire was also sparked by the crash.
At least one person was injured in the crash.
No further details were released.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
