A motorcycle rider was ejected and seriously injured in a collision in Valley Springs
Valley Springs, Calif. – A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a crash Tuesday morning on Highway 12 in Valley Springs.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred on State Route 12 at Chestnut Street at around 10 a.m.
A gold sedan collided with a motorcycle in unclear circumstances.
Authorities arrived at the scene and found the rider on the ground and not moving. The sedan had been stopped at the right-hand shoulder.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in the collision.
The victim’s identity was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation is underway.
